Baby Dehne [11 Weeks]

Ben came with me to an appointment I had on April 29th at which I should have been 10 weeks. We got to see baby jumping and moving all around and the Dr. told us the the baby was actually measuring at 11 weeks and 1 day! Which means that baby was really 10 weeks and 5 days in my "9 Week" post.

How Far Along:  11 weeks, 2 days

Weight Loss/Gain: According to my Dr.'s office I haven't gained any weight at all, which is normal. I'm still weighing in at my starting point of 115.

Sleep:  I'm still feeling like I need a nap during the day. I can tell more easily now when my body is telling me that it is time to take a break and relax. I'm back in my own bed and haven't slept on my stomach one time, just my left or right side.

Cravings/Aversions: Still loving oranges. Really just loving food in general. I feel like the nausea might be starting to subside and I will be so thankful if that really is the case! We used a Cheesecake Factory gift card the other day and I wolfed down some spinach and artichoke dip, but once my meal came, I took two bites and was over it. I ended up getting sick for the first time that night. Let me tell you, that was way less fun into a camper toilet that did not have running water yet. Thank God for Ben.

Miss Anything? I'm bummmed thinking about not being able to go on any of the rides at the fair this year! None of the fun ones at least.

Mood: I can tell that I have been more affectionate since becoming pregnant. I feel like I'm saying "I love you" about ten times more than normal. I'm probably driving Ben crazy!

Milestones: Honestly, everyday I go without having an emotional breakdown over the mess in this camper is a win for me.

Best Moment: Once Ben got off work we told his family that I was pregnant. They were so thrilled. It was fun to be able to listen to their reaction even though we couldn't be there to tell them in person.

Looking Forward To: Picking out names! I have a girl's name in mind but a boy's name is proving to be a lot harder to come by!

Baby's Development: Baby is just over 4cm long and has a heart beat of 154bpm. He or she is now considered a fetus. Baby is learning to move and kick and possibly starting to hiccup since the diaphragm is formed. Some bones are beginning to harden and their hands and feet have individual fingers and toes!

I am so in love with this sweet little babe!
