Weight Loss/Gain: I've gained about 5 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight which puts me right around 120.
Sleep: I hadn't really been super tired but at the end of 20 weeks I started feeling really exhausted. I think our little one is going through a big growth spurt and she's sucking up all my energy!
Movement: I could finally feel baby girl move from the outside at 18 weeks. Ben was able to feel her for the first time on Father's Day! It was a great moment for us to share together. A few of my friends in California have felt her and a bunch of my family has had the opportunity to feel her too! She puts on quite the show sometimes. I still think Daddy is her favorite but I absolutely love when people get to feel her moving all around!
Cravings/Aversions: Steak still sounds good all the time. I notice myself craving fruits and vegetables more now. I've been trying to cut back on sugar, dairy, and carbs. Not because I'm worried about weight gain at all, but I would rather not eat those things when I don't need to!
What I Miss: Still alcohol. The fourth was great but I definitely could have gone for a celebratory drink!
Mood: Dealing with my emotions has been a little rough lately. Pregnancy doesn't make that easier but it's been nice to have my family close by for support.
Milestones: I can't believe I'm more than halfway done with this pregnancy! Looking forward to my next appointment at the birth center. I need to set up birth classes soon so I'm sure that will be fun/interesting!
Best Moment this Week: Having my family be able to feel her move all around! Also, I had a stranger ask me about my due date for the first time which means I must be definitely showing and am finally out of that "I just had too much Chipotle" phase.
Maternity Clothes: I've got a few shirts that are super awesome. I haven't got any maternity bottoms yet and I'm hoping that the little button expander thing and my belly bands will last me throughout the whole shebang!
Baby's Development: This week baby girl's intestines are more developed and she can start absorbing sugar from the amniotic fluid (which is probably why she goes crazy anytime I have any!) She is about 10.5" long and growing so much hair you can see it on her ultrasound!
Mom's Development: My milk supply is definitely making progress. I've experienced the sensation of let down quite a few times now and let me tell you that I hope it hurts a little less once baby is actually here. I haven't discovered any stretch marks yet but I feel paranoid everyday when I look for them!
Looking forward to: Getting back to California and picking up my cloth diapers and getting more work done on the camper! My "nesting" affects the whole airstream since I don't have a nursery to work with. I'm not complaining though! I love our little home & I can't wait to bring baby girl into it!
Look at those spiky hairs!
My belly really popped at 20 weeks!
Fourth of July shenanigans.
Cue Vanilla Ice.
Bumpies are way more fun than selfies.
I wasn't ready for this photo but it's the only decent one I have from 21 weeks (today!)
So excited for this little girl to get here!
