This past February we put an offer in on a new construction spec home and it was accepted! We've been anxiously awaiting its completion and today we received word that we'll be moving in mid-July! This will be our first home (on a foundation) that we've owned and I'm excited to have a place that is all ours. I've already envisioned so many of the memories we'll be making in the time we'll be here. Like breakfast in the southern light that shines into our dining space, oh, and getting ice straight from the fridge.
We've been checking on progress over the past couple months, building our ideas of what we hope to do here as they build up the walls. All that is left now is to install the carpet, countertops, appliances, and finish off grouting the tile throughout the main living area. I'm most excited for our backyard plans as we have a totally blank canvas to work with. I know for sure we'll have some wildflowers and a home to house native bees. We're so thankful to have had the opportunity to make this move and our only concern at this point is that we make it through a move in the middle of the Arizona summer!
