Playing Catch Up

Been MIA for a little while due to all the excitement in these past couple weeks! First Emily came to visit. Then my Momma and little brother came and hung out with me too! So thankful that they were able to come spend some time here in California. I used to say that I hated Arizona, but I do miss being there with all of my family and friends.
Here's a little taste of what's been going on lately!

Lovin on Em at the beach.  I miss hanging out with her everyday!
Giving myself props for this picture I took on my phone.
Seriously loving photography right now.
I know, typical military wife... But hey! It's so fun!

Bucklee HATED the beach. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with the water. But he seemed to really like playing in the sand! Until he got home and realized he'd have to get a bath. :p

So much love.

He actually let that happen. Blame Dad for the bath, Buck!
That sandy drool. Probably the cutest/grossest thing ever.

His little ear dipped in sand. I just can't get over how adorable my baby is! (:

Then the very next weekend we went to the beach with Mom and brother. Too much fun!

The Beach Master
I'm pretty sure Gage was trying to model like this sea lion.... haha!

Love it (: He's so precious
He couldn't get me....... but Gage wasn't as fortunate. ):

I didn't plan on getting wet...
But the ocean had a different idea.

Gage was trying to warn us about the giant wave headed our way.
Ben's face... I just die every time I see this picture!

(:

 Handsome boy!
Gage loves his brother Ben. (: too cute.
love it!

Saturday after my Mom and Gage went home, Ben and I took Bucklee for a long walk around our neighborhood. One of my favorite quotes is "Never walk a Mastiff puppy further than you are willing to carry him home." So true! But at 50 lbs... that's not happening!

He was so over it!

Mom really, I'm done.
After our strenuous 20 minute walk, Ben and I went to the fair with a few of our friends.
We had so much fun! But there were so many people.. AND my shoe broke, so I was pretty unhappy about that. But cheese covered curly fries made it all better (:
Plus, now I have an excuse to go shopping!

All the tall rides were 10x better than in Arizona because you looked out over the OCEAN! Which was kind of super scary when you're twirling upside down through the air. But it was also super awesome!

So, I've been obsessed with these chalkboards I see all over pintrest! SUCH a cute idea. Probably the most frustrating thing I ever done though.

This was my first attempt with absolutely nothing to guide me.
It was okaaaaaaaay but I wanted to do something a little different.
So I came up with this!

Still not completely satisfied but I'm hoping to get better with time!
So, expect to see LOTS of practice! (:

And hello, cutest thing ever.
